OUR MISSION

Our purpose and mission is to minister to the poor in Avondale by helping to meet needs of food, clothing and furniture and provide other services. Rescue Community Center wants all people to be treated with dignity and respect. We seek to build up people's self esteem and provide encouragement.

It is our prayer that we will be able to continue this ministry into the future in a

new building at our present location.

Hanging over Mrs. Johnson's desk is a plaque with these words:
